Application:
Dicumyl peroxide is used as a curing agent and cross-linking agent for natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as for polyethylene resins. It is not used for curing butyl rubber.
It is also used as an initiator for polymerization processes, particularly in the production of EVA foam materials, where it helps form fine and uniform foam while improving heat and weather resistance.
Additionally, it is used as a cross-linking agent in unsaturated polyester resins and as a curing agent in phenolic-nitrile adhesives, enhancing heat and aging resistance
